Temples of Hindu Gods & Goddesses and Danish Mission Church adorn the village. As to any village in Tamil Nadu, the Kikkalur people too not going to temples on daily basis. Persistent efforts are made to see people especially women go to worship at temples. Almost all the temples renovated and consecrated but it is time again to renovate and do consecration. This is twelve years once ritual in many temples of Tamilnadu. Here in Kikkalur an unbelievable is happening; thousands of devotees come on First SUNDAYs of the month to MUNEESWARAR TEMPLE to offer worship particularly with clay made icons and spot made Pongal etc. It is this village, next to TIRUVANNAMALAI GIRIVALAM on Full Moon Day and MEL MALAIYANUR AMMAN DHARSHAN on New Moon Day, sees devotees surging to MUNEESWARAR TEMPLE as they believe he is the SAVIOUR OF HUMANITY (Kaakkum Kadavul). This is holistic and absolute faith of many devotees as they come with family. The entire village people trying their best to extend all possible facilities. This is another step we trust the village is proving a model village in spirituality. God blesses everyone; believe.
